CIENTÍFICO-TECNOLÓGICO
1. Ecuaciones
Miembros de una ecuación: cada una de las expresiones que aparecen a ambos lados del igual.
Términos: los sumandos que forman los miembros.
Incógnitas: letras que aparecen en la ecuación (x,e,y...)
Soluciones: los valores que pueden tomar las incógnitas (las letras) para que la igualdad sea cierta.
3x + 1 = 9-x
x=2, porque 3 por 2 + 1 es igual que 9 menos 2.
Grados de una ecuación: es el mayor de los grados de los monomios (términos) que forman los miembros, una vez reducida la ecuación.
3x + 1 = 9-x --> ecuación de grado 1.
x2-3x + 1 = 2x - 5 ---> ecuación de grado 2 porque la x está elevada a 2.
Ecuaciones equivalentes: dos ecuaciones son equivalentes cuando tienen las mismas incógnitas y las mismas soluciones.
3x + 1 = 9-x Son equivalentes. Los dos tienen una incógnita y como solución x=2. 4x=8

0 por x = 0 --> esta ecuación tiene infinitas soluciones.
0 por x = un número y ese número no es 0 --> no tiene solución
